Nate & Valerie :: A Summer Meadow Wedding

Valerie & Nate are the kind of people you meet and instantly feel like you have known then for much longer then you actually have. If I had describe these two in just a few words I would say, they are some of the most genuinely kind and relaxed people around. Their wedding was a true blue reflection of this. The day had family picnic kind of feel, every heart was warm and every face had a smile. These two are perfect for each other and everyone knew it and could not be more thrilled to celebrate with words of encouragement, cheesy potatoes, homemade pie, and dancing. OH folks let me tell you these are the kind of weddings that I love.
Oh that note I would like to tell a personal story that is slightly embarrassing yet kind of sweet in it's own way. The wedding was full of joy, some tears here and there, but more mostly just full of those great big laughs that make your facial muscles start to hurt. Well at this point I was two weeks away from my own wedding, and the "shores" of my emotional ocean were starting to get a little wavy.  Anyway Valerie and her Father got on the dance floor for the father daughter dance, and I was doing so well, and then they it hit me out of nowhere. The view finder in my camera started fogging up and everything just went kind of blurry. And they weren't just the soft little rain drop kind of tears it was like hurricane Sandy all over again. Needless to say I signaled my second shooter for back up and ran to the bathroom to ride out the waves their. Anyway the point of this story is really that I didn't have a song I really loved to dance to with my father at my own wedding. Valerie and her Father danced to a song called "Daddy" by Kendall Payne and it is beautiful. I highly suggest you listen to it and if you are woman or a father you should possible considering having some tissues near by. Thank you Valerie & Nate for not only allowing me to by apart of your beautiful wedding day but helping me find the perfect song to dance to with my father. You guys are awesome!

Anyway enough of my babbling, everyone enjoy these images.
