Adventure No. 1

Life always has a way of taking us to new places and to new people. The next four months for me hold a lot of mystery and I am ready and excited the embrace all the beautiful change. As much as I would love to pack up each and everyone of you in my suitcase, it would probably get a little uncomfortable :) however this blog will be a container for lots of stories and pictures of my journey to Guatemala and so in some way it's like I am taking each and everyone of you with me. My plane takes off at 10:00am tomorrow and the rest is not completely clear, but I do know that I will be filling up SD card after SD card full of pictures. Along with that I'll be teaching in some english classes at a school down in the area, and providing any services I possibly can to the school, church, and the family I will be staying with. I am so excited to service as a pencil in the hand of a loving God who is writing a love letter to the world.  And I am also so very grateful for all of your prayers and support. I will be sure to keep you posted and let each of you know what I am up to on my little adventure. :)
